Exciting new developments in dietetic training from 2012 are that: 

-In 2012, Otago University is offering the Masters of Dietetics degree in place of the Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics. The two year Masters degree programme will prepare graduates for professional practice in New Zealand.

-Massey University, Albany  (Auckland) is commencing a two year Masters of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics)  in February 2012.

 -Auckland University is developing a Masters of Health Sciences in Nutrition and Dietetics, which would be offered for the first time in Semester One 2013.
