The Board’s audit system is changing. 

One yearly audits (i.e. an audit of just one year’s records) will now replace the 5 yearly audit. Up to five percent of all APC holders will be selected randomly for CCP review in April each year, from 2012.  Dietitians selected for auditing will be notified in writing to submit evidence for their documentation. 

In addition, automatic features of the programme and on-line checking by the auditors of your ‘My CCP’, will ensure that requirements have been met throughout the year for all APC holders.    Auditors will have access to your on-line credits and CCP records and these will be viewed from time to time. Auditors may provide comments, suggestions and reminders regarding your CCP to you via email throughout the year.  

What type of evidence would help support my credits?

Outcome evidence showing new knowledge and skills acquired is ideal. This can include power-point presentations, your own summaries and learnings from presentations attended, resources developed, university assignments, academic papers written, reflections and feedback from others.
